I did it and am now ready to tackle my ultimate dream project (I think)

Last month I purchased a slightly used 2004 red convertible C5.. (I know what ya thinkin) but wanted it for a daily driver while I tackle a C3 rebuild.
Here's my quesiton, I'm sure there will be many more, I need some good literature / instructions to assist me. I'm great at following directions... ask my wife

The car is 95% original and stock and my intentions are to keep it that way.
I'm looking for specific instructions for a 72 LT1 or within that range.... Any suggestions?
Can't wait to get started in Georgia!

I suggest you start off with good beer supply and a Valium kicker your going to need it I know. Make sure you have the corvette repair manual and the AIM (assembly instruction manual) for guides. Pb blaster is your friend use liberally and often and soak way ahead of time. A sawzall and a die grinder will help a lot and most important of all......MONEY lots of MONEY and even more money. I have never in my life seen money disappear sooooo fast.
Good luck to you. We are here to help.

love your reply indy 99. wish someone had given me that advise - it took me a long time to schedule proper vet working atmosphere ( lots of beer - time not too hurry - and several good friends (real friends in this situation we show up with skinned knuckles and dirty fingernails)
proper schedule goes somthing like this.
1. pop a top
2. view and discuss problem (maybe even look at the manual)
3. grab a wrench
4. !#$%
5. get away from car
6. pop another top
7. tell friend #1 to try steps 3,4,5,6
8. this process continues until all friends are used up<wasted>, the beer is extinguished, you need a different tool.the wives start calling, or the problem is fixed.
9. invite all your friends back next weekend
