I recently finished restoring the frame & rear suspension & drivetrain in my'70. I finally got the restoration photos somewhat organized and online. Here's the URL to my website:http://www.corvetteforum.net/c3/juliet/rearsusp.htm :) ~Juliet

Juliet,
That looks beautiful! I've been working on the same part of my car too for the past two weeks, putting in quite a few hours there too, but doing all the work myself except for the wheel bearings... not fun! I hope mine turns out as nice as yours! But you did have the luxury of actually being able to see numbers on your frame :) Thanks to negligence and lots of oil leaks and dirty driving, my frame was CAKED with dirt. But it feels soo good seeing the frame look like it was meant to be!
Now if I can just get the damn shims into the differential. ARGH.

Those pics are great! A lot of time and effort. It does make you appreciate the $65.00 or more per hour that the restoration shops charge for their effort. To do it yourself makes the job really worth while. I'm really glad to hear that after all that work, you still plan to drive the car.

Wow. Congratulations. It looks like you really put a lot of time and effort into it. Judging from the before and after pictures I'd say it really paid off for you. Now you just have to try and keep it that way!!
