I am going to add a rear sway bar. The front is stock. What diameter sway bar should I add...3/4" or 5/8"?

Thanks,
Mark

Adding a rear bar and keeping the front stock, I would keep the rear small. If you get too stiff in the rear you will get a lot of oversteer. The car can get tail happy. Some is good, more is not better.

But if you change the front as well, the can get a lot stiffer at both ends, and still have neutral cornering, with increased handling.

Hi, the rear bar on my 68 427 car is 5/8, while the front I believe is 7/8. It handles extremely well with this setup. Regards-Flandy |cheers|
