Thanks!

There should'nt be a problem if your calipers are in good shape,if the bores are pitted real bad you wont be able to use them, bein they are 38 years old they might not be in very good shape, some of the guys in here have rebuilt theyres,it not that hard a job

Its not really hard at all, there are some vendorswith some pretty nice kits out there. If yours are pitted bad enough, you can always send them out and get bored and stainless steel sleeves pressed into them. That way you keep the original look.

Considering that a set of rebuild calipers cost about $75 each or less, you may want to consider shipping them off to an outside vendor like Lone Star Calipers or Vette Brake Products, or better yet, one of our supporting vendors.
The hardest part of the rebuild on your end will be packing the calipers up.
Good luck,

I agree with Ten15. What would you pay for insurance on your car? Would you consider less than $400 for factory rebuilt units cheap insurance? We sell twenty sets of calipers for every one rebuild kit.
