I've had the same KYB shocks on the vette now for over 7 years. I'm very happy with the ride quality.
I think Delco, Bilsteins, KYB's are the top choice of most of the vette owners here.

I have had the Bilstein Shocks on my 80 since 81 or 82. My original set of Bilsteins were pretty Harsh in the Ride department with my F-41 Optioned Car and I would'd do it again for the Street. I changed to a set of John Greenwood or Dick Gulstand ??? Prepared Bilteins for the C3 back in 86-87 or so. I doubt that they are avalable anymore. They are completly diffrent than the Standard Shock they are bigger Diameter. They Car's Ride Improved right away. Recently I sent the Shocks to Bilstein to have them Rebuilt and it took them a wile as a couple of them had bent Shafts and they had to make new ones. Biltein has a good Service department and once You buy a set they will rebuild them forever a service not offered by most of the others. Richard....

I'm a KYB gas adjust guy all around, but it is said that the Bilsteins are the best, and priced accordingly. I'm sure there are a lot of great high dollar shocks out there but I can't afford 'em.aceinthehole49 2007-03-24 15:20:59
