Ok fellows you have given me good advice so far - here is my next challenge - I am replacing my front shocks and coil speings - I have the option of going double adjustable or single adjustable - I am not a racer I just love to cruise so what is the right decision?  Thank you - Ken

I assume when you are talking about double adjustable that you are talking about the compression and rebound rates. If you are not racing the car it doesn't really matter. For cruising you should be looking for comfortable ride combination. If you go with a high number coil spring expect a harsh ride. Unless you are racing, I would use a factory spec coil spring and a good quality shock. Minor handling characteristics and dampening harmonics can be modified with air pressure in the tires.

I installed QA-1's single adjustment coilovers with steerroids and now it is like I am riding on a rail. I don't road race but it is there when I want it. I went with the BB springs in preperation for a future swap and they do make it a stiffer ride. Having the abitity to adjust the ride height is a plus.

If you like to cruise in the car, by all means use original equipment springs, and good shocks like KYBs.  Unless you are a serious racer, all you will get from stiffer springs and adjustable shocks is a harsh ride.
