Vette(s): 1972 LT1 Cpe. Bryar Blue. 47,500 Miles Original Interior, exterior repainted and is a 10 footer (ok, maybe a 15 footer).
I have acquired a tilt-telescoping column for my '72 which was not equipped with one. Any suggestions on how to get this replacement done without cursing or selling the car due to frustration? Thanks, Allan |hammer|

Vette(s): 1975 C3 Red, T-Tops, Black Interior. All I need is time and money! Getting there!
Allen, this really is not that bad. You have the linkage at the base of the collumn, and the steering rag joint. Remove the link, loosen the joint. Go inside the car and drop the bolts holding the column to the dash. Disconnect the wire harness, and slide the column out. The other one goes back in the same way. Be sure to line up the rag joint on the way in. Not too tough at all.

I agree, this is an easy one. Hardest part to me is snaking the linkage-bar through the firewall-you have to turn it just right. It is a great addition!
