Well, the steeroids package is in and the jury has come back with a verdict.  The steeroids company (speed direct) is GUILTY.  Guilty of improving the drivability of my car by a good 200%.  I can now drive on the interstate, even on rough pavement at highway speeds, without the car wandering from lane to lane and causing me to grip the wheel with white knuckles. I can now make precise turns without having to oversteer then correct.   While the install took my Son and I quite a bit longer than I thought it would (about 12 hours), it went “OK”.  I did have some problems with binding in the “U” joints but think I have them worked out.  I haven’t had my alignment done yet but feel I have it very very close to where it was before the install.  I would like to thank all that gave advise with the install, especially John (acplus) for his pics and comments and Larry at Corvette Specialties for the special C3VR pricing. If anyone is considering this upgrade, give me a PM if you have specific questions about the install.

I am glad you have yours in. I agree with you it is a big improvement. I think that is about how long it took me to get mine installed. One question does it seem like the turning radius increased.

Robert, Ive had others say that their turning radius was wider with the steeroids but I cant tell it if mine is.  I thought about measuring the radius before starting the install but just never did.  If it affected mine, its very little.

Nice install. Is there still clearance for oil pan removal?

Thanks

I think the pan could be removed but it would be close.  The fluid lines  along the top of the rack are very close to the pan but are flexible to a degree.

All right, congratulations!  Yep, your 12 hr estimate is  more inline with what I found it took me.  Although I spread it out over a weeks so it seemed even longer!  I could not telll a difference in my turning circle.  It still makes the sharp turn in my driveway.
