I purchased mine through Ecklers where I get a 10% discount due to another Club I belong to. I don't think they stock them I think they are just shipped Direct from the manufacturer. VBP now sells them to.Instalation is straight forward if You have read any of the Magazine Articles and a bit Complex if You rely on the Included Instructions. If they spent 10 Min's putting it togeather before they Shipped it it would be simpler. Everything is included providing You have the Stock Power Steering Pump. I beleive the Rack is a Saturn Part. Don't Loose the Metric to JIC adapters that Joint the Hoses cause these arn't that easy to obtain. As in the articles and instuctions the only tricky part may be getting the U-Joints to not Bind. VBP recomended to me to place a couple of Shims under the Steering Column inside the Car if You can't get the Bind out. I didn't do this and I have very little Bind. What You need to do is Telescope the Column in and out to get the best ratio. If You don't have a Telescopeing Column in the first Place the best Position might not be where You like Your Steering Wheel. I wish I could tell You how it Drives but I will need to get it off the Jack Stands First. Richard....

I got my Steeroids package from Speed Direct last winter. Very good quality. I had to do some minor things for perfect fit, like the others. At the same time I installed new upper and lower A-Arms and transverse monoleaf spring from VBP. What a difference! Well worth it.

Give us the wave if you're interested.

Good news folks!!    Speed Direct, who is the actual manufacturer of the Steeroids kit, is working on a pricing proposal for the club and will be getting the info to us shortly.

We still stand at 3 possible orders, and as stated earlier, the better the discount based on how many oders we can generate together. So if you're contemplating buying the kit, this may be a great opportunity for you.

Apologies for any redundancy in the updates, just trying to keep any interested parties up to speed (no pun intended)

Thanks

Luke

Fianl tally, me and VETTERBOB! 1 dropped out.

Bob, I will talk to Speed Direct to see what they will do for 2 orders. May not be as advantageous due to low number of orders. I'll let you know.

If anyone is interested, please let me know shortly as I will be looking to do make a deal with Speed Direct by the end of the week.

Thanks

Luke

Hey - I added these to my car a year ago - although I am mostly delighted with the result there were some serious installation problems.  First they arrived with no instructions and so we had to waste a lot of time getting a pro over who could help us determine what we needed to do.  The fit was so tight that we actually had to machine a couple of the knuckles down so that they would clear obstacles.  The steering is not 100% of what you would expect from a rack and pinion system but in terms of "feel" it is way better for handling then what I replaced - which was the original system.  My only problem that lingers is when I am turning past one of the machined knuckles there is a bit of a bump I can feel in the steering wheel - this annoys the crap outta me.
