Greetings All,
I am having a problem with my '72, the front left caliper is sticking.  When I'm slowing down and coming to a stop, at a certain point I can take my foot off the brake pedal and the car will come to a stop on its own.  When I take off, the car vibrates a little, the vibration is from the caliper sticking and holds the car back and prevents a smooth take off.  I have changed out the caliper, the front brake hoses, and the medal brake line from the brake hose to the small block.  After all this, it's still sticking.  Any helpful suggestions, I would really appreciate it.  thank you--Red72

Does the car "pull" to the left? Seems as if you've replaced anything that would cause the problem in the front. Normally this would be due to a collapsed hose, or just a bad caliper...both of which you have replaced.
Might want to check the rears...
It is possible that the master cylinder is not releasing, but you would normally have an issue with both sides, not just one, but anything is possible.
If you have the front jacked up, and apply the brakes, can you NOT turn the left wheel after releasing the brakes?

There may be a problem with the proportioning valve, but that too, while unlikely, entirely possible.

Yes, it does pull to the left a little.  Not quite as much since I've changed out the hoses, but still a little.  Now I'm wondering if I should go ahead and change out the master cylinder.  If that doesn't take care of it maybe I consider replacing the proportioning valve.  what do you think?
