Topic: Suspension recommendations

Hey! I used 550# coils, a composite monospring in the rear, and Bilstein shocks on all 4 corners. It did drop the car over an inch in the front and back. At the time, I was also running Goodyear Eagle GT II's 255/60/15's and had no clearance issues so I think you should be fine. My suspension upgrades made a huge difference to me. I prefer the stiffer ride myself and the car handles great! I don't think it is a rough ride, but others may disagree though because it all comes down to personal preference.

That's what I'm wanting to know Thank You! I was leaning towards the blistens too. Would it be weird to change out the coils and drop an inch in the front and keep the stock style leaf in the back? Would it cause problems elsewhere like the bearings or drive shaft angles?

Well I deicided to leave well enough alone, I'm not getting a warm and fuzzy about changing the front coil springs and leaving the stock leaf. It cost me 20 bucks to get the rear spring refurbished and I'm going to powder coat the front springs. Since I am planning on selling the car after it's rebuilt I will leave it to the next owner to decide. I have noticed that vette brakes is the place to go for shocks they are cheaper than all the other big resellers zips, mid america and corvette amer. .
