That's a great site - I really needed it when I was trying to decide what to do to my '81 Well I finally bought & installed the rear sway bar and boy am I happy - it didn't effect the harshness of the straight ahead driving at all & it takes turns like it is on a rail now ... I got some excellent guidence from Dick Guldstrand http://www.guldstrand.com/
and ended up buying a heavy duty Rear Sway Bar 7/8 " (I currently have 1 1/8" Front Sway Bar) - the pair work great togeather ...
If you do not have a rear sway bar, I'd suggest you get one.

I generally recommend sway bars also...
My BB with both sway bars and f-41 handled better even with its rotted out bushings that my SB with only the front sway and new poly's ever did.
but there is a caveat..
you MUST tune the size of your sway bars to the rest of your suspension. the size of your tires, strength or your springs, your shocks, etc.. all make a difference..
10mm of tire width can make the difference between perfect steering, oversteer, or understeer...
if you call some place and they dont ask you about all these things.. dont buy from them. even if they do ask.. its not always an exact science...
sounds like the guy mentioned above knows what hes doing.

Sway bar selection is an exact science. But there are a huge number of variables that most people overlook. Generally recommendations may not be good enough. So I agree, talk to someone with a LOT of sway bar knowledge, or someone with the SAME set up as yours.
