the reason I ask is that I am cleaning up my bars and they look original, I believe my car was f-41 equipped
it has the 7 leaf, it has a 15/16th's front bar (which i know is correct for 67 with f41) and a 9/16th's rear bar.
just trying to figure out if either has been changed..
I measured these values with a micrometer, so im sure about the sizes..

What you are describing is definitely an F-41 setup. Do you still have the F-41 shocks? I hung on to mine, they're very desirable for trailer queens.
I can't remember if the F-41 was a required option for all big block cars

I believe there were only around 1600 F41 equipped cars so I would definitely say no on automatic inclusion on BB in 69 at least
my tank sticker is long since gone so I have no proof that I have an original F41 car.. but the parts do seem to fit ..
as for shocks.. do you know casting numbers ??
if I had the right leaf, sway bars, and shocks I could feel pretty secure about the F41

i havent found any info listing that kind of restriction
you think this option could have been installed at dealer locations??
I just find it odd that someone replaced stock components fairly early with F-41 components.
my shocks had been replaced with some junk so I cant match those

Certainly the F-41 could have been added at any time. I know the Nolan Adams Fact book says only available with 435 horse and "special 427".
Keep in mind that it could just as well been installed at the factory. In those days, you could get almost anything you wanted, all you had to do was order it special.
I'm curious about your car now, what's the redline on your tach? How long have you had it?
Your profile says it's a 390 horse, do you still have the heads?

it is 390 horse, engine code, casting # etc., heads match. dont recall redline off hand (and the body is across town) but it was consistent with a 390 hp 427
