would 235/60/15 or 245/60/15 work for a 1972 bb without rubbing. they will be mounted on stock 1982 alloy wheels. currently wearing p215/70/15.

i'm running 255-60-15 on my 72. the reason i chose this size is that it is the same overall diameter and 2 inches wider than a 215-70-15 and keeps my speedomeer correct without any changes. the fit is close on the front when turning but doesn't rub. though it seems 245-60-15 would also work.
