After a half gallon of PB Blaster, wearing out a dead blow hammer, lots of blue language, praying, and prying I gave up on freeing my passengers side trailing arm.  Drove to Riks Corvette Parts on Friday and got the new poly bushings and stainless shims and bolt kit.  I tore into the passengers side yesterday morning.  Man... there is a lot of stuff to take off just to get to the point of sawing out the trailing arm.  After getting the trailing arm on the workbench it was obvious that it could never have been freed up on the car. I just got the passengers side put back together; Im half way there.  Putting the spring back on the trailing arm was the scariest part, man there is alot of energy in that thing.  I hope the second side goes quicker.

My hat's off to you for being able to take on a job like that!
