Vette(s): 1975 T-Tops,Lite Custom work,Many engine mod. 700R4 trans. body is shaved,17" wheels bf goodrich g-force tires,heavy sway bars front&rear rack&pinion steering,550 slolom springs with gas shocks.
To start with once the car is in the air. If you have a anti-sway bar you have to remove it next the shock comes off. The rearend stabalizor bars come off. There the ones that ran from the dif.to the trailing arm. The spring comes off. Disconect the emergancy brake cable. I think that should just about do it if I remember correctly! It's been a while. Now there is a bolt that runs through the very font of the trailing arm this can be hell! There should be a cotterpin through the nut once you get this freed up try and keep all the shims together from both sides of the trailing arm this important because this will get you back on alignment went you reasemble the car. You will still have to get an alignment when your through!!!! While you have this mess a part check the frame where the bolt go's through this can be a real rust through spot so check it very closely. I think that should do it!!!! Best of luck and if I can help further let me know E-Mail gellisvette@aol.com see ya.
