Has anyone fitted or tried to fit 17"x9 1/2" vette rims on a c3 specifically an 81. These rims have a +56mm offset. Curious as what size adapters are required and will they even fit in the fenders on the front wheels? If you have em, what size tires are you running? Thanks in advance, Keith |cheers|

the fronts are standard...can buy them ''off the rack'...now the back.... |biggrin| ...are a different story...had to have them ''custom'' made to get the depth I wanted.
the wheels are 17x11s.
I always have ''trouble'' with this offset thing..*chuckle*...but will try to explain it..the wheels are 11 inches wide...8 inches out the front from the ''center'' and 3 inches behind.
NOT very practical for much..can't drag race or road rally..too much of a chance of snapping a shaft...I did beef up the suspension..new bearings etc etc etc etc...I got the wheels for the looks.

Hi Darcy, I was unable to access a picture of your vette on c3vr but accessed your web site and got a look. The rims look great on your car, what size tires are you running and do they extend past the fenders? Thanks, Keith |cheers|
