I need to replace the rear brake rotors on my '69. I bought a set from O'Reilly's but I heard back things about runout and warpage. AutoZone sells Wagner brand for the same price. What is your experience and recommendations? Don't want to have this apart twice if I can help it.
Thanks,
Matt

I haven't needed to replace any rotors on my cars, but from past auto experience, Wagner is quality stuff. When it comes to calipers, a number of members here have insisted one should buy only Delco (new or rebuilt with stainless sleeves) to make sure of quality. There is some low quality Chinese made stuff on the market.
There's also some specialty brake suppliers selling cross drilled or slotted Corvette rotors, but I understand that's a waste of money unless you do a lot of racing...the stock brakes are excellent as is for all but racing.
Besides Wagner, there is also Raybestos for brakes...also quality parts. Brakes are nothing to scrimp on...get quality stuff.

They have complete trailing arm assembly's and complete re-built or re-build yours differentials, C-2 and C-3's.
I bought my calipers from him, and he spent time with me on the phone and e-mail with expert advice.
