Good morning Lads,

I'm rebuilding my 1971 C3 L-48 and have a question about the harmonic balancer.  I'm rebuilding the 350/270hp engine and the machine shop folks supplied a 6 5/8" (I thinke that's what it is) balancer.  But just received the NCRS judging manual and it sez the '71 calls for a 8" balancer.  The machine shop folks have disposed of the original balancer because the rubber was hanging out of the front, so cannot check new against old.  So which one is correct for this engine.  Can someone perhaps measure the balancer on their '71 and let me know.

Thanks......much appreciated!

It is a 8 inch balancer,I have the same motor year and all,I think they screwed up
