hecko guys, any owners with a stock engine bay with 454 willing to take some detailed pictures to help me get my engine bay restore started?
I am especially in need of pictures of the radiator shroud and related components......
thanks, Jim

Jim,
I have a 74 w/BB that is mostly stock. I can take detailed pictures next time I get reunited with my car (about 2 or 3 weeks from now). If I had seen this post yesterday, you would already have the pictures.... sorry!
I am not sure of what kind of project you got started; complete resto? just putting it back after engine rebuild ?.... going for NCRS certification ?
Regardless, in the meantime, I would strongly suggest getting the service manual and the assembly manual. You can find both of them pretty easily on eBay for about 30$ each. And until you get these books in hand, I think there's a parts catalog available for download on this site. It's a 6 or 7 parts download in .pdf format, but if my memory serves me right, there are "some" pages with pretty good illustrations.
And you should look at this one too : http://www.keenparts.com/
He has many good illustrations, but I'm not sure if they will be as detailed and year/engine size specific like your looking for.

thanks for the post... I am looking to do a assessment of what the last owner did when they put the car's front end back together... It was wrecked and the front clip was replaced and its a mix of new, NOS and used parts...
I want to be sure that I have big block stuff where BB stuff should be.... I have a shop manual and the Corvette assembly book with all the drawings... all the manuals are good, but sometimes a color pic does more for me to understand...
I also joined the NCRS and ordered the restore book from them for 73-74's
thanks, Jim
