I was wondering my L 82 is all original, 30000 miles. Would it hurt the value or just not be smart to replace the carb. with fuel injection? It has set all it's life and is setting now. I have have little chance to drive working over-seas and it being in the states. Thanks for any advice. Michael

IF you can install the FI set-up without making it where the carb set up could not be re-installed in the future, then I see no reason to not do it. Sure would make it more enjoyable to drive, imho. Just be sure to keep all of the carb stuff for a future owner to have, or re-install, if they wish to do so. I don't think it would hurt the value at all. .

If you keep all of the original parts,  it shouldn't hurt the value.

WooPigSooie, Another Arky. Hi Michael, I just bought a 78 L82 in Italy where I am an Expat from Cabot, AR. My car was already outfitted with a FAST EZ-EFI system V1. I did some remembering of living with carbs and quickly updated the EFI controller to V2. Not the entire system, just the hand held controller to give me more functionaility and visibility of data representation. For ease of use, driving, and a turn key operation...in my humble opinion...is worth every penny. Good luck in what ever you decide. Cheers, Dan
