Could anyone out there tell me the correct ignition timing degree for a 1981 (BTDC)? My sticker is not in the engine compartment and do not have a manual on hand. I'd appreciate it. Thanks in advance, George

I guess the guys with the manuals are not working the weekend.
Stay tuned. They will be here soon.
My guess is 6 degrees, but that is strictly a guess.

I'mma thinking it's 6 too...might be 8. I'll have to dig around to see if I have the info here. Perhaps another member will have it handy.

I went out to the garage this morning and looked at the emission sticker on the old OEM hood.
It listed 6 degrees @ 700 rpm - manual trans.
According to the label. You need to unplug the 4 wire connector at the distributor, set the timing, then reconnect it.
