can someone give me an idea what a tired 327-275HP motor is worth? I picked up this '67 chevelle with the intentions of making it a daily driver. It's a 4-door concourse wagon from Cal. It's in pretty nice condition but after doing a compession test today I'm trying to deside if I want to spend the money on a rebuild or just look for a nice 350. I'm not about to ship this thing so please dont ask.

I made a similiar decision a few years ago. I was debating whether or not to rebuild the tired 350 that was in my '81, or just drop a fresh 350 crate motor in. After figuring out the dollars and (what makes) cents. I went the crate motor way.
A tired 327/275hp around my area will net you around $150-$200.
That's my .02 cents!

i agree $200 or so. A 68 (large journal might bring a little more).
