i want to put in a gmpp 502 into my 72'
is there really anything other than power steering ,a/c,and alternator brackets that need to be changed to make this swap possible.the impression i got was that other things with the a/c had to be changed out to make everything work because i'd like to keep my a/c with out doing a whole lot of changes to it?? |smokin| |smokin|

I know the front springs need to be changed, and I would think that the radiator needs to be changed. I'm thinking you might want stronger motor mounts too.

I agree with Scot. If you are going from a small block to a big block, you will definately need to change the radiator. You will also need to change the front springs to handle the extra weight. Compare 1972 big block parts to your current parts. As you mentioned the brackets are different as well. If it is an automatic you should be okay. If it is a 4 speed, you will possibly need a flywheel. Depending flywheel, the starter might be different. There are several things to consider.
