72 454 Valve Covers

My newly acquired 72 454 came with chrome valve covers. Most of the car is all original but I have doubts on the chrome valve covers.

Any one know for sure what color valve covers my 72 454 come with?? I ended up buying a set of used orange valve covers but still not sure if these where the type that came on my car. Im wondering on the configuration of these valve covers if it is correct for a 72 Vette with the 454.

1970 was the last year for chrome vc on big block. Your '72 would have had painted vc with rubber fill plug, and no decals.
