I just replaced my incorrect PCV valve with a correct one. While doing this I noticed that my PCV hose coming from the front of the carb to the PCV valve is also not correct. It's a generic hose. I'm need the correct hose which has the following alpha- numeric in white on it. "3/8 GM 6107 M-KV" any help in locating one of these at a realistic price would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,
Happy New Year😊

Duct tape is the new Black !!
He was the first place I checked. He does sell kits for the 73, but the correct lettering as original is not on the hose in question. It is no longer available anywhere. Actually it was discontinued by GM a long time ago. There is currently one available at GM dealers but of course it doesn't have the same numbers on it. My hose is in good condition, but generic with lettering. im just going to remove lettering and leave plain black. These were one of the first hoses to disintegrate due to the oil breaking down the rubber. Probably could have a rubber stamp made as suggested by some. CC does have one for a 72 with the bend in it. But the lettering is dot matrix which doesn't do well with some judges. dead giveaway for reproductions. Never thought this would be impossible to find. Since everything is reproduced for the vettes. There is just not enough interest in it I guess.

Lot of the NCRS guys do use a rubber ink stamp to put the ID on hoses, weatherstrip, etc. How well it does in Judging depends on how much it looks like OE, and how knowledgeable/cranky the Judges are that particular day. I've had items that passed Judging at the National level fail miserably at a Chapter meet....in some cases by the SAME Judge(s).....
That being said, get the hose that most closely resembles "factory" installed, and let it ride. A minor deduct for not having the ink stamp won't really effect the overall score. Eventually, you will find that elusive hose....
