Ok Last Update on this thread. A buddy from the airport came over with one of those nippled 7/8s and a couple of wacks with the hammer and it came right out. It had been soaking for 3 days. I cleaned the threads. Put a dash of anti seize compound on the new O2 sensor and hand tightened all the way in ok. Snugged it in and took a test drive. After about 10 miles the service engine light came on. It was the O2 code. I had cleared the codes before starting the test drive. I'm going to continue this on the Emissions, Exhaust Forum. I've read all the threads on high idle and emissions going back to 2005. Thanks for the help and I'm still working the high idle problem...
