Vette(s): 1973 Orange Metallic Coupe (orig owner), L82, 4 spd (WR), PS, (A/C & PW (I installed from wrecked 73)), leather, AM/FM Stereo, ran with '65 FI unit earlier & will again some day. 2023 Accelerate Yellow HTC Stingray

Try monitoring battery voltage during all of the start/restart cycles. Something seems strange. Probably the understatement of the day. 😉

I check out the link, it was very informative about converting and changing over to a lot of aftermarket parts, but not much on troubleshooting and repairs.  Thanks for the info.  any help is appreciated.

This is my update on my repair, finally acquired a fuel pressure gauge to check the pressure.  Pressure was next to none, like 3psi.  Took out the fuel pump, to my surprise the rubber hose that attach to the pump was crack.  I couldn't believe it, cause I change the whole unit about 5-6 years ago.  My original hose cracked at around 30 years, so this was the last thing I thought would be damage.  I replace the hose and ran the car, I got 9 psi and it was running fine.  I want to thank everyone here for their help and advice.  Much appreciated.  Thinking about putting in a 1985 fuel pump since I rebuilt the TBI already.

Going to enjoy the car this summer, I thought this summer was going to be a bust.  Thanks again for all the help.
