i have 8.5 mm msd's with my ac rapid fires, runs great, may as well not go cheap with the spark plug wires. Hope this helps.

If the rest of the ignition system is stock, the stock delco wires are still a good bet with the rapidfires. If the ignition is modified, go with the mfg recommendations.
