Heat is an unfortunate fact of life in a C3. Even if you get the exhaust pipes out from underneath you and use side pipes. It still gets HOT. I bought an additional set of front floor insullators and will put them in over the winter, but for as hot as it gets now, I don't hold out any hope. Actually, I have only used the heater once in my car and that was only cause my wife was complaining about being cold. I find the interior very comfortable in the winter due to the fact it is so HOT normally.

Hmmm, when I'm replacing the carpet inside, should I put in a double layer of insulation? Sure seems like a lot of people complain about the heat. Did the car originally come with any kind of heat barrier? Living in FL, already have enough heat to deal with, don't need anymore toasting my toes
Thanks
