It took me a long time to decide, stay totally stock or spice it up a bit. Well my cars no NCRS car so I decided to juice up the engine compartment a bit. Heres a few before and after pics.

New stuff includes; new Q-Jet carb, aluminium ZZ-4 Intake manifold, black aluminium L82 Valve Covers.  The thing you can't see is the totally rebuilt radiator, this radiator was ready to blow at any time.

Took the master off my 78SA. Cleaned it up with brake parts cleaner. Plugged the 2 port holes with plastic bench bleeding plugs(Help! parts kit.) Masked off the rear part with duct tape and clamped a short piece of 2X4 to the master covering the reservoirs. CAREFULLY sandblasted it. Painted it with Rustoleum flat black spray. After it was dry, kinda buffed it out with a clean rag to give it just a little sheen. Turned out nice. Next time I flush the brakes on the black 79 I'll do that one, too.

Your new stuff looks great. I've been doing a little detailing on my Pace Car, too. Always said I wouldn't touch it as it's original, but couldn't resist some deep cleaning and some painting of a couple of brackets.  Mike
