Vette(s): 1971 LS6 M22 3:70 coupe, 1971 LS5 M20 3:08 coupe, 1970 LS5 M21 3:36 coupe, 1970 LS5 M21 3:70 coupe, 1970 LS5 M20 3:08 coupe.
Great year 'vette!
I have owned 3 '70's, 2 '71's & 2 '72's, all coupes.
Of my '70's, original colors were Corvette Bronze & Bridghampton Blue. I painted one Black, one Gold & one Red. Out of 7 'vettes only one remained the correct color.
Donneybrooke green is a fairly common color, I like it! However you will find that a color change of another factory '70 color will not hurt the value very much, with a non matching drivetrain.

I wish I had your garage
I also like the green but red would be my pick for repaint. I did have some one tell me that red might help the value since it is a popular color and has a following. I am still torn between keeping the original color and changing. So much of the car has been destroyed by rust that I am going to have to replace a lot of components, nothing major but still it will be far from original. I get the frame back tomorrow and will start the rebuild this weekend. I still have a few months before I need to decide on the color. So for the next few months I will keep pulling my hair out waiting for the light bulb to come on and make me feel the warm and fuzzy about which color to paint the old girl....
