Good evening everyone...just had a drive belt (fan to AC) shred....its been sitting for the better part of 18 years so I suppose it was bound to happen. Can anyone tell me where the best place is to purchase and replace all 4 belts? I've been looking online and most of the Corvette places (Ecklers, Zip, MidAmerica) all have them...but at 25-26 bucks a piece. Is one brand (Gates, Dayco, Goodyear) better than another? Does OEM really matter?

Thanks a bunch!

Goodyear and Dayco were OE suppliers, but that doesn't mean you have to replace with those brands....but it's a good idea to use them, anyway. The quality is worth the cost. Just make sure whatever brand you get, that the belts are constructed properly,a s far as the width of the belt. Some aftermarket belts are too wide, some too narrow, and either will cause a problem.
