Anybody use a carb kit from AED, or had them overhaul a carb. Looking at rebuilding my Holley 4165 Spread bore double pumper

Vette(s): 1973 Orange Metallic Coupe (orig owner), L82, 4 spd (WR), PS, (A/C & PW (I installed from wrecked 73)), leather, AM/FM Stereo, ran with '65 FI unit earlier & will again some day. 2023 Accelerate Yellow HTC Stingray
I'd get the kit from Holley.

Vette(s): 1969 Daytona Yellow. 350 / Automatic.
and the Holley kit, Holley List # 6262, is only $36
and the AED AED4165, is $45.

I'd check the parts given in each kit.

I just got my Holley 4165 carb back from AED. It took them just over a week to rebuild it. The cost was  $200. I believe that was a fair price for the work. New carb kit, cleaning, bench testing. It is being put on the car this week. Hope to have it back from the shop by the weekend.
