i took my l82 out of my 78 to freshen up the engine bay 8 yrs ago. got it all beck together except for the air intake that sits on top of the radiator support. for some reason i can't figure out what i mounts to . i need e picture. been looking at it for days . i can't believe it. any body have some pics

Same here, I currently have my 79 L82 apart and could use a few pics on how the air intake goes back together.
The L82 plastic air induction is split on the sides in the front. The cross support above the radiator goes in between the plastic and there are 2 small sheet metal type screws on each side that hold it in place. I'll get some pictures and try to get them posted this weekend.
