Just sharing what I had to do to accommodate my alternator mounting so I could have room for belt adjustments. I combined two different kits from Summit to tailor it to my liking. Hope this helps others.

Sorry. The Summit Kits where as follows
P/N SME-2001
P/N SUM-420101
I used the lower bracket, upper bracket and expansion bolt of SME-2001 and the Alternator top bracket of the other. After further research I hear you get brackets for a 327 V8 and it works as well if you want stock appearance.

Vette(s): '73 L48 Coupe, 383, M20, A/C, Electric Windows. Matterhorn White Jet-Glo w/ Dark Blue interior. Rochester, Edelbrock, Blackjack Ceramics, Borlas w/ 2.5" mandrel X over, Cooper Cobras on both OEM Steel and Aluminum Wheels.
Not too fancy, but works for me.
3.75" tall Valve Cover, #15550 belt. Not sure where the chromed adjuster brace came from.
