I've been thinking of ways to add power.... and i'm really considering a SC. I've got about 380-390hp right now, and would love to see 500 one day. I've already decided to replace the transmission, so i could easily go with something more durable. If i thought i could get another 75hp without SCing for same 2600 it would cost to SC then i wouldn't do it. Any opinions? Oh... the price excludes the forged crank i would need to get.

hello
howabout turbocharging?
it will give you a big increase in horsepower and torque.
do you really have to use a forged crank if you dont
charge it more than say 7psi?

390?? Man - I guess I'm going to have to add to that old saying....
Now it will be "You can never be too rich, too thin, or have too much HP!"
(speaking as an L48 eeking out 180hp it's hard to imagine 390 not being enough!)

You could always go with a 75 to 150 shot of nitrous. At least you won't have to do much in the way of engine mods.
