Yea yea go faster and turn up the radio..... Well for one thing I have no radio currently and second the cops will pull me over at the drop of a hat down here. Saturday I am going to really get into the moter and find that nois one way or another. The fuel pump needed to be replaced anyway. I think that it was starving the carb of gas. I guess a bigger carb need more gas. If that does not work then I will have to go into the engin again and find it that way. I will post what I find. By the way anyone know an "easyer" way to replace a rear spring? I am about to start that project the same day.

I think that I have found the problem. Turns out that I blew a small peice of the exaust manifold gasket and that is where the ticking was comming from. After all the work changing the fuel pump to, but the pump was going to go out any day now. After all it was the original pump. Hats off for everyone who gave me all the sudjestions. They really gave me a good starting point.
