Its kinda hard to tell from this drawing but it looks like it goes from the pump to filter in , filter out, up rear bulkhead passage to main oil gallery atop the camshaft and so on, the rear bulkhead passage is where the oil pressure gauage fitting goes.

If you are asking where the oil pressure line from the gauge connects to the engine:

SBC: Rear of intake manifold.

BBC: Just above Oil filter.

My '79 small block comes off just above the oil filter.

I believe the "idiot light" comes oof the rear of the manifold. The gauge comes out, as Pumps said, just above the oil filter. That's the way it's set up on my 79...

Good luck

Luke, you have a oil pressure lite? Must be the empty socket next to the fasten seat belt light on mine. Mine has the above mentioned seat belt light, the gen lite and low fuel, but never seen an oil pressure lite go on when I put the key in the on position. I only have the sender above the filter, the front and rear oil pressure gallies have plugs in the top of the engine.

If I recall correctly (changed out the original engine), there was a much smaller sending unit than the one for the gauge on the top rear drivers side of the manifold. Although I cannot attest that I've ever seen a light go on when the key was in the on position - now you've got me thinking...
