1) I bought an 1982 Corvette tailhousing and a 1993 Corvette 700R4. Bowties crossmember is a marvel and well made, however it is not for use with a Corvette transmission because they do not have a mounting pad next to the pan like an F-body or Truck 700R4. I ended up making a bracket to go backward from their mount to the tailshaft mount.
2) I bought an 1982 driveshaft at Bloomington. It is too long for a 68-79. I think the 80-82 differential is an inch or so longer. I had my original driveshaft cut and it works great.
Just wanted to share my installation experience, I have nothing but good things to say about Bowtie Overdrives.
