Vette(s): 72 convertible showcar. Featured in movies, tv and newspapers worldwide. matching numbers. 350, 4 speed. custom paint and stripes. Always a crowd pleaser.!

I'm at the cam bearings installation stage. Removed the old ones,
but something don't look right about the new ones. Anyone got
any illustration data about this.....? Please email it to me at
hypemarketing@yahoo.com. Appreciate your help and advice.

Don't have any illustrations, but I do know they are not all the same size. The smaller diameter bearings go to the rear of the block. If you measure each one, you'll notice that they all measure a bit different.(think "Tapered") Putting the smaller ones in starting from the rear helps with the cam installation.
I'm assuming you have the installation tools?
Also, be sure not to install the rearmost bearing too far, and knock the block plug out of position.Adams' Apple2007-06-20 05:06:46
