No the car drives just fine until I come to a stop lite or sign. It just idles to down and stops,but restarts fine. The engine dosen't seem to be under any load. I am giong to check the distributor ,and see if the bushing is bad .while I have it apart I am going to change the modual(?).

It sounds like a locked up torque converter.imo

My vehicle acted the same way.  Died at stop signs/lights.  drove me nuts trouble shooting.  Put it on a dyno and the guys picked it up right away.  Could be the torque conv also.... just giving you my expereince.

I'm going to go with the group,I replaced the modual and the cap&rotor.It  still not right,so the torque converter is next. The dealer said that it a disconinued part. And the parts store has so many different tpyes. Any suggestions(I not looking for any thing high preformace,just somthing that will make the car run well until I am able to change the motort out.
