I have a 69' tri-power that stalls when the engine is fully heated. I tried adjusting the idle to see if that would help, but it didn't. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

George

Could be a bunch of things, but vaporlock in the fuel line comes to mind. Check that the fuel line to the pump and between the pump and the carbs is not close to headers or exhaust pipes. Check the fuel pump pressure, and make sure the return line is hooked up. Finally, make sure the engine is not overheating, and I would not totally trust the original temperature gauge unless you know it's accurate.

Vette(s): 1975 C3 Red, T-Tops, Black Interior. All I need is time and money! Getting there!
Agreed. But don't forget the basics. Points and timing adjustment are first. Fuel mixture and idle next. Vacuum leaks and EGR leaks can also cause this.
