Outside of that, I like the Edelbrock carbs...they're simple and hold their adjustments. They're available in electric choke and manual choke versions.
If you're determined to retain the Holley style...get a Demon carburetor. My own feeling is Holley, while a good carburetor, has rested on their past reputation while other makes have passed them by with regards to quality and reliabilty.

GM recommends the Holly 750 on there ZZ4 and there is one available through the speed catalogs ( Jegs, Summit ) with the shiny stuff on it for 279.00, elec. choke, just need the duel feed fuel line and a link. adapt. I put one on the '78, works great. I grew up with 'em so I don't know any better. Can't really afford those premium carbs but the edlebrock carb is well known for it's ease of use and dependability .Let us know what you chose and how it works.

you guys gave me some good choices. its going to be edlebrock or holley but what I dont know is what model. Will the 750 be to much for a 350 with a lite cam? I want something I can tune to my motor and have a little to spare. not to worried about the price. Just have to know the correct model number and the easyest to tune. Any advise on this question? any pro's?

Good luck
