Vette(s): 1971 convertable-White-Restored to the frame-350-Flowmaster 50's-Edelbrock Intake & Carb.
I am considering replacing my Q-jet and intake with a 600 eldelbrock and intake.
I have not looked everything over yet, my question for everyone is. Will all of the
hoses, lines, high idle etc... hook up to this system? 71 w/standard 350.
Thanks!!

I made the same change to my 75 4 speed car. There were very few problems there are enough vacuum ports on Carb and in Manifold for everything to work. I did have to rework the oil sending unit it hits the manifold so I installed a short pipe nipple and a elbow to point the sending unit back toward the firewall. I have the Edelbrock low profile air cleaner and needed to install the Edelbrock swivell fuel fitting so the line comes up at an angle not streight in also had to make about an 1/8 in spacer between the carb and air cleaner (You would think an Edelbrock air cleaner would fit on their Carb) The last problem I had was when I put the Throtle cable on I only had about half throtle. Had to take the cable out and make a spacer in the back of the cable to in effect make it about 3/4 of an inch shorter. All and all the swap was well worth it runs much better and the manifold has to be 20lbs lighter. (this is a non EGR engine)
