Your Edelbrock Torker is a square bore single plane manifold correct?

Vette(s): 1972 conv, 4-speed, 350, 200hp, numbers match, rally wheels, war bonnett yellow w/white top. good condition, nice driver.
I have a stock 350 with correct intake and carb. Rochester 7042203. Once I found someone to rebuild it to specs, which entailed a trip to southern California for the carb, it runs VERY well for what I'm doing with it. Your choices are slim for something else. Carter AFB is one "IF"you can find one. The other is a Holley. Keep us in the loop, as to what you decide.

The Rochesters are spread bores, if you have a square bore manifold the spread bore carb will not work. You may also have a hood clearance problem with the torquer.
I personally would ditch the Torker manifold for a dual plane manifold since the engine is stock. Here is a video that'll explain the differences.
A stock type spread bore carb and intake would be my choice.

You could go with an LT-1 style aluminuminum manifold with a Holley carb, but I hate Holley carbs for street use.
Personally, I think the best choice would be the later L82 aluminuminum manifold, with the Quadrajet carb. Bolts on, and shouldn't have any hood clearance issue at all. my .00002

Yeah what Joel said. I never had good luck with Holley's myself. To tempermental for my likings.
