if i may add my 2 cents here...ebo it may very well be a clogged exhaust. on my 90 it got clogged and when it idled it sounded great but when you were driving you could feel it working harder and there was a visible drop in power. replaced exhaust and car ran great. they do make a pressure guage that measures the amount of pressure coming out but never saw or used one. if the exhaust system needs changing you may be able to fix your problem easily.

Can you hear it at idle? I had a chirping noise once and it turned out to be a dry water pump bearing...bearing full;y wiped shortly thereafter, but this wouldn't contribute t a stumble...

Can not hear it at idle, days before resistor wires you could hear the RPM thru your radio. Well going down the road it's just like that but it's a chirping sound and it matches the RPM.

Exhaust seems good no rust, not loud, I lose the stumble if I accelerate.
