I have the original top shield from one of my old '72s, so I went and verified. The top shield you show is the same as what is on my '74, but totally different from my '72 top. The '72 top has a small "window" on the front side, toward the air cleaner, that my '74, and the one you got does not. The top shield is also a bit wider than the later models.
Will it all fit on your '70? Certainly. Will it be "correct"?... Prolly not 100%, but if you're not going the judging route with the car, I see no reason to not use it.

If you look closely on the bottom "V" pieces, on the non-plated brackets, you might see a stamped manufacturer's mark...
Most of the shielding did not have any part #s on them, but may have a CPC, PCS, etc. on them...
I say run 'em!

My 70 has the two "v" pieces, but that top is the same as my '71. I suppose the top could have been used on later builds, I'm not sure. Larry is right, the two long black pieces are not for your car. The top on my early 70 is two piece. Mines also only has two of the spark plug covers, and I think the two fronts are missng.

I do know the earlier ones were two-piece tops.
No matter, I still say run 'em...
