Here is my latest desktop dyno calc..

http://direclynx.net/~cthulhu/corvette/misc/my69BB.pdf

I would like to run some numbers against a real dyno. Could someone who has a real flywheel dyno report send me their info and let me compare the output.

or if any of you would like to see what desktop dyno says about your mods ill give it a run for you.

Wow, great Stump puller. If you don't mind me putting in my two-cents. My only recommendation would be to put a cam in that revs a little higher and still maintains idle. If I may make a couple recommendations I would try one of these cam configurations.

Every big block I've ever played with I felt like I was getting cheated if I couldn't at least get it to reve to 6000. The later cam should get you there the other will about 5800 rpm.

Got to love the big block power! |smokin|

your 2c's are welcome anytime.

I didnt pick this cam, nor is it my favorite but i probably wont go much further with this block

at some point i may preserve the original motor and put a 502 in.

the only other upgrade for the engine I have planned is a set of comp cams magnum pro roller rockers

part # 1320-16

Impressive numbers.
My understanding is DeskTop Dyno is usually withing 10%. If you get some real numbers it would be interesting.

Hey Ben if you ever do pull the 427 to "preserve" it you need to drop in that ZZ-572 with 720 hp....just so I can say I know someone with one...LOL Man I would like to drive something with that engine in it.

I ran the iterator to find my best cam..

from 2k to 6k

i tested peak torque and HP

and peak torque curve and hp curve

I also entered aftersharks cams and tried them

these are the results i came up with..

they make interesting study when you compare each dyno result, each with the same engine and a different cam.

this folder contains 6 pdf dyno results..
