Dipstick clamp?

Depends on if it's a big block or small block, too....the big block would have a small tab on it to bolt it to the exhaust manifold.
If it's a small block, then it is strictly a press fit into the engine block.

If you can get the tube out, you can take a tubing cutter, and lightly spin it around on the lower edge of the tube, about an inch from the bottom....you don't want to actually cut the tube. I usually will do this in a couple of spots right next to each other. What you're doing is making a raised area on either side of the cutting wheel. This will make the tube fit tighter in the hole in the block.

Getting the tube out will not be a problem.  The problem is keeping it in.  Right now it comes out when I pull out the dipstick.  Thanks for the help!

BTW -- it is a small block 350.
